What's the difference between a Crate and a Set?

If you look at the main page, the three Crates available are Dungeon, Battlefields and Town. Each of these Crates contains FOUR sets.

Dungeon Crate - Wizard’s Study set, Abandoned Mine set, Treasure Room set and Dungeon Debris set

Battlefield Crate - Baggage Train set, Campsite set, Fences & Hedges set and Walls set

Town Crate - Guard Barracks set, Tavern set, Blacksmith & Stable set and Library set

Depending upon your pledge level, you’ll be able to choose one or more Crates once you receive the Pledge Manager when the campaign finishes. So, if you’ve pledged for three Crates, in the Pledge Manager you’ll be able to select which Crates you want to receive.

How do I tell you what Crates I want and where to send them?

Shortly after the Kickstarter closes we will send you an invitation via email to the TerrainCrate pledge manager.

On the pledge manager you will fill out your address and contact details, your pledge level and what add-ons you want (if any). You can even choose more items than you initially pledged for on the Kickstarter and pay the difference on the pledge manager, including any additional shipping charges that may be incurred.

Do I need to fill out the manager once the campaign finishes?

Yes. You must fill out the pledge manager. If you do not fill out the pledge manager we will not have your address, and you will not get your pledge. We will not be able to guarantee that we will have enough stock to supply your full pledge. You will receive a confirmation email when you successfully check out from the pledge manager, and can check your order by clicking ‘My Orders’ on the pledge manager. If you do not receive a confirmation email and/or there are no orders on your account then you have not successfully completed the pledge manager.

When will the Kickstarter pledge payment be taken? Can I change my pledge?

If you pledge on this Kickstarter, payment will be taken at 11:59 BST Sunday, May 14th, the same time the project ends. If payment is unsuccessful you will have 14 days to correct your payment details before Kickstarter cancels your pledge. Because payment is not taken until the campaign closes, you may change your pledge amount as many times as you like during the campaign. Just click ‘Manage my Pledge’ and you can make alterations.

Can I pledge $1 and still be able to access the pledge manager when the campaign finishes!

Yes! You can pledge any amount during the Kickstarter campaign and you will be sent the pledge manager. If you pledge $1, you’ll still receive the updates and information about the project too, so it’s a great opportunity to keep up to date with what’s happening in the campaign and what stretch goals we unlock.

When will my pledge ship? Where will my package by shipped from? What shipping method will be used? What value will be declared on the package?

We estimate that shipping will begin in May 2018. Packages will be sent from the UK using Royal Mail or courier. The customs form on your package will represent our costs for providing the pledge. The cost of shipping will not be included in the value marked on the customs form. The package will also be marked as a gift. Please check with your local customs office for any charges that may apply to your shipment as you will be responsible for these.

What size are the miniatures? What material are the miniatures made from? Do the miniatures come painted?

The miniatures are single-piece and no assembly is required. They are made from a highly detailed, durable plastic. The material is a type of PVC commonly used in our games such as The Walking Dead: All Out War, our existing Dungeon Saga furniture, as well as games by other manufacturers such as Wrath of Kings and more. Note that this material is not the harder PVC commonly known as “restic”, and is not sprued “hard plastic” (polystyrene). Your miniatures do not come painted – any painted miniatures shown in the photography are for promotional purposes only. Miniatures are supplied in coloured plastic, however.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
